About the Event

People from ancient times observed and connected the various natural phenomenon in the world to humanities, politics, society, then summarized them into a set of theories, that is, divination. Divination was used to predict the destiny of individuals, and even nations. Numerology and physiognomy are two of the important branches of divination. This lecture will introduce the theoretical basis of numerology (the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches, Yin and Yang and the Five Elements), the calculation and interpretation methods of the eight characters, and will also discuss physiognomy and excerpts from the "The Inner Classic of the Yellow Emperor".
