About the Event

Li Songlin

Poet, director, artist, alumni of Tsinghua University School of Fine Arts & Rhode Island School of Design.

Songlin’s footprints span across Asia, America, Europe and Africa. He’s an artist full of zest and stories.

His creative materials and methods include but aren’t limited to glass crafts, ceramic crafts, wood crafts, metal crafts, mold making, sculptures, paintings, performance art, multimedia images, film animation creation, bookmaking, poetry, indoor and outdoor installations and social intervention projects, etc.

He has independently published many personal poem collections and served as chief editor of various poems. He has filmed documentaries in Turkey and Morocco on the 2015-2016 New Year's Eve. In 2017, he traversed the United States alone, then published "Journey Through the Wasteland" in the United States in 2018. After graduating from graduate school, he worked in art therapy at the California Institute of Integral Studies. He returned to China from the United States in early 2019 and returned to China at the end of 19 to engage in cultural, creative and educational work. He established Li Songlin's personal studio to continue his artistic endeavors.
